Product Description
Cypod CyDrum™ is an IoT sensor and modem solution that is used for tracking and monitoring thousands of assets as cable drums from the manufacturing of the cable to the site and till it returns to the manufacturing of new cables.
The CyDrum™ provides real-time information about drum location using GPS in combination with the 4G/3G/2G cellular to report its position, information about temperature and humidity to ensure proper environmental storing of cables, and approximate information about cable consumption for updating usage and utilization in addition to identifying and capturing information about cable drum such as type, age, drum owner, last refill, type of cable, and more.
It also plays a significant role in improving logistics and planning, cost reduction, and resource optimization enabling the effective usage of drums by keep monitoring and tracking cable usage on drums and how much is left as well as where and when have been used along with receiving alerts and notifications when cable consumption reaches a preset value.
